Welcome to TAI First of it’s kind in Africa!
In 2010, in partnership with aviation professionals and Brookfield Aviation, TTS GROUP, the leading private aviation group in Tunisia, developed its activity by creating a training academy, TAI providing civil aviation courses in general, mainly flight training for pilots.
TAI operates from Monastir airport, where the meteorological conditions statistically ensure the most favorable practical training conditions.
In 2015, TAI signed a partnership agreement with the French flight school, IROISE to provide pilot training in Tunisia, in compliance with EASA European Regulations

Pedagogical choices
THE AVIATOR INSTITUTE has a state-of-the-art fleet that includes the Diamond Aircraft family and FNPT II DA42 simulator, a new generation fleet of DA42NG (twin-engine) and DA40NG Club IFR equipped with Garmin G1000 (single-engine). Such perfectly homogenous fleet and training devices allow a coherent and progressive training. THE AVIATOR INSTITUTE thus operates the unique Diamond Aircraft fleet in Tunisia.
Premises and facilities
Our training team is made of skilled instructors holding long experience in the Aviation and air transport field. The theoretical courses take place in Monastir. As for the practical phase, training is completed from TAI base at Monastir Airport. All training flights however are operated to all Tunisian airports. For maintenance services, the school has a covered hangar of more than a 1000 square meters, located at Sfax Thyna International airport. Our geographical position represents an important advantage, including particularly remarkable weather conditions giving the possibility of flying more than 330 days/year.
